PS 64bit still doesn't work for me in Vista 64bit. All other programs work fine when replacing amtlib.dll. I am thinking it might be because PS 64bit is using another host file other than the one located in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc.

When I try to run the batch file it tells me that the file is not found under the specified path. The adobe folder is there. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

For the record, my PS64 is working just fine right now, but I want to avoid this problem in another 3 months. Sorry I'm such an idiot and posting so much.

Remember to only put this amtlib.dll in the Photoshop folder, and to use the 32-bit version in all other program folders.

I had a little trouble with this at first because I don't know what the hell I'm doing, but I ended up reinstalling CS4, after changing the hosts file, then going in and manually replacing all the amtlib files. The cracks wouldn't work for me, but it's not like you need them -- the amtlib files are easy to find. All the applications are running normally now, which is great, because when PS stopped working I was losing my mind. I tried Gimp and I f-ing hated it. I tried GimpShop and I still hated it -- everyone says GimpShop looks and works just like PS -- total crap. Once you're used to PS, you can't stand anything else. Thank you tt4under.

Thank you for this, it worked perfect. I have been frustrated because the 64 bit version wouldn't work because I was using the 32 bit file, but now the 64 bit version works perfect.

With vista 64, there are 2 "program files" folders. Adobe installs into the "Program Files (x86)" folder, so you need to open the patch in notepad (or another text editor) (right click - edit worked for me) and add (x86) after program files on the path name of line 3. That did it for me.

unfortunately, now PS is crashing as soon as i start it. gahhh

I used to have vista 32bit and no problems with my CS4 i upgrade to 64bit as you know i had custom installation and installed CS4 again but get a message about the serial is not working i have to use the trial to be able to edit videos. ok when i replace the amtlib.dll in Program Files (x86) photoshop doesnt start anymore. what am i doing wrong? also the patch says file not found under path or something. and i tried adding the (x86) in notepad but it still didnt work. i feel dumb =[

omgfelaine - this is the 64 bit file - it goes in the Program Files folder - without the x86. (not Program Files(x86) - this is 32 bit)

You'll need to fix your other amtlib.dll for the regular 32 bit to work. There is another torrent by this guy for the 32 bit versions.
